How We Solved For The Problems
Solved For Our Two Target User Groups
Problem
Amateur photographers preferred not to customize their services extensively.
Solution
We have designed a checkout flow that caters to both amateur and professional photographers, offering varying levels of customization based on their needs.
Result
This resulted in a simpler customisation process for both target groups. We observed that more users were relying on the simplified flow because it was more helpful.
Designed A Seamless Checkout Flow
Problem : 3+ Minutes To Customise
The previous designs included illustrations and visual cues for each step, assuming that this would simplify the customization process for the user.
However, this approach ended up making the page heavy and placing an additional cognitive burden on the users.
Solution : Customisation takes <1.5 minutes
We redesigned the customization flow using drop-downs instead. Drop-downs provided concise information and were easier to understand.
Result
Switching to the drop-down approach made the page lighter and reduced information overload for the users.
Execution
Releasing In Parts
After an extensive process of strategizing, brainstorming, and designing, we develop and release small versions of the website. This approach allows us to track the features being released and gives us time to understand and analyze how users are interacting with those features. Based on these insights, we design the next plan of action.
Regular Quality Assurance Tests
After launching a new version of the website, we perform thorough quality assurance tests to ensure that the developed product aligns with the intended design.
Post Result Analysis
- We regularly use Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics to track user behavior on the website.
- Session recordings are particularly helpful in identifying sections of the website where users encounter issues. This allows us to devise and implement appropriate correction strategies.
- Google Analytics assists us in monitoring drop-offs, bounce rates, and incoming traffic. These insights provide a better understanding of user behavior and what resonates with them.
Result
Switching to the drop-down approach made the page lighter and reduced information overload for the users.
Results
Increased Conversions
Our diagnosis and execution on the website resulted in increased conversions and reduced drop-offs within the first month of going live.
Improved Website’s Speed By 3x
We increased the website's performance by almost 3 times through technical optimization and improved design architecture. This ensures that the website loads much quicker, reducing drop-offs.
Weekly Updates
We conduct weekly update calls with clients and the entire team to discuss current plans of action and next steps. This helps clients track progress and ensures that we are aligned with their business goals.
